Mount Everest view from Everest base Camp
Nepal announced on it is shutting down all expeditions on Mount Everest for the rest of this year’s climbing season due to the Coronavirus outbreaks through out the world.
The move followed announcement that the Chinese government has also shut down the Tibet side of the mountain’s climbing expeditions in 2020.
Expeditions to bothsides of Mount Everest have been closed with immediate effect. Climbing permits are all cancelled.
For those tourists who are planning a trip to Mount Everest Base Camp in the Tibet’s side, the travel permits is suspended until further notice. We are hoping to reopen tourist to Mount Everest Base Camp sometime second half of the year, but it all depends on when the Covid-19 is under control in national wide.
