Xining Airport opened its First International Flight

December 5th, 2014.  Xining, the capital city of Qinghai Province at the far north east of Tibetan Plateau opened its first regular direct international air route on Friday, linking the provincial capital of Xining with Bangkok, Thailand.

This flight is owned by China Eastern Airline and it takes about 3 hour and 40 minutes. This flight departs every Friday.

According to Qinghai Province official, another international flight will be launched on Dec. 15 between Xining and Seoul, the Republic of Korea.
