Tibet closes for foreign Tourist from June 18th, 2016

Dear Travelers,

Tibet will be closed for foreign tourist from June 18th til June 23rd. The process of Tibet permits will be stopped during this time and resumed on June 24th. So if you are planning to travel to Tibet during this time, you have to reschedule either before or after this ban. With said that you can still travel to Amdo or Kham region of Tibet without permits.
